Some protection against direct sunlight, some shadow from vegetation, filtering about 20 - 40 % of light.

This strange-looking plant boasts huge white flowers (7-8 cm in diameter), is easy to grow, and is an excellent candidate for outdoor growing for colder climates.
This plant naturally grows in high mountains, on sunny spots, and is not very touchy about the soil - provided that it has good drainage.
